Mohamed Elneny is one of three Arsenal players in talks over a potential move away from the Emirates in the final hours of the summer transfer window, according to a report from the Daily Mail (31/8; 10:34).
It looks set to be an incredibly busy day in North London for the Gunners. The Athletic has suggested that they are working on a deal for Takehiro Tomiyasu.

However, that deal is reportedly dependent on Arsenal moving players on first.
The good news for those hoping to see the Japan international join Mikel Arteta’s ranks is that it appears that several lines of communication are open.
According to the Daily Mail (31/8; 10:34), Hector Bellerin and Reiss Nelson are both discussing moves away.

And they could be joined in the potential deadline day exodus by Elneny. The Daily Mail claims that he is also in talks over a potential move away.
Elneny has been in all of Arteta’s match day squads so far this season. He played the full 90 minutes of their Carabao Cup win over West Brom.
And he also played the second-half of their defeat to Manchester City on Saturday following Granit Xhaka’s red card before the break.
Arsenal exit for Elneny may be best for all parties amid talks reports
He has produced some superb performances since returning to the fold at the start of last season.
However, there does appear to be a sense amongst the fans that Arsenal need a better player in that area of the field.
He is not known for being particularly progressive with his passing.
It remains to be seen where he may be headed. Of course, it may well be that he ends up staying put should talks not progress.
But it may be best for all parties if a move can be agreed before the deadline passes.
