Report: Manchester City want to sell 21-goal striker; Guardiola 'has no more space' for 22-year-old

Manchester City want to sell Germany under-21 champion Lukas Nmecha in the transfer window, according to Bild.

The publication are claiming that the Pep Guardiola ‘has no more space’ for the striker in his current squad.

Nmecha’s current contract expires at the end of next season following his loan spell with Anderlecht last year.

Khaldoon Al Mubarak gave an interview claiming the Citizens will go all-out to replace the Argentine.

Man City ruthless: Nmecha transfer stance a sign of club’s intention

Manchester City’s stance on their talented young striker is a sign of their ruthlessness in the market.

Over the last decade or so, the club have been cut-throat in the transfer dealings.

The signings of David Silva, Kevin de Bruyne to overhaul the squad and turn the club into title challengers is stunning.

However, their stance on Nmecha takes them to a whole new level of ruthless.

The German proves an incredibly talented young forward, however, that’s not enough for Guardiola.

He scored 21 times in just 41 appearances for the Belgian outfit, enjoying a brilliant campaign.

The 23-year-old was one of the club’s key assets as he helped them to a top-four finish in the league.

Nmecha’s 18 Juliper Pro strikes came from an average of 2.8 shots per game, a team-high for Anderlecht.

His transfer-listing shows the Spaniard wants to sign a ready-made replacement for Aguero to help them retain the league.

After his campaign with the Purple and White, a transfer of Nmecha just shows off the brutality with which City operate.

The desire to win is incredibly high as they seek to win the Premier League yet again.
