Kaide Gordon looks to have made a big impression on several key figures at Liverpool with The Athletic reporting that a number of first-team players and staff were left ‘massively impressed’ by the 16-year-old’s pre-season form.
Gordon is gearing up for his first full season with the Reds following his arrival from Derby County during the second-half of the last campaign.

He made a big impact during the final months of last term. The 16-year-old scored six goals in his final four Under-18 Premier League appearances of the season.
And he appears ready to pick up where he left off. The attacking midfielder was involved in the first-team’s training camp in Austria this summer.
It seems that he took the opportunity with both hands.

According to The Athletic, many of the first-team and backroom staff were left ‘massively impressed’ by Gordon while away.
Kaide Gordon one to watch for Liverpool after impressive pre-season?
Of course, Gordon’s focus will be on continuing his development in the youth system at Anfield.
However, Jurgen Klopp has previously shown that he is not afraid to put his full faith in young players.
And so, Gordon could well be one player to keep a keen eye on this coming season.
Liverpool will battle on four fronts once again this year. And along the way, Klopp will surely want to rotate his options.
So perhaps it should not be a surprise if Gordon does come under consideration for an opportunity or two if he kicks on from his impressive pre-season showing.
