Spanish newspaper Marca claims Liverpool are considering a move for Bournemouth attacker Arnaut Danjuma this summer. The Netherlands international was excellent for The Cherries last season, albeit in the Championship. Liverpool are said to have taken a look at Danjuma.
The 24-year-old joined Bournemouth in the summer of 2019 while Eddie Howe was still in charge, in the Premier League. But the Netherlands international really struggled in his first season, failing to score or register an assist in 15 appearances during 2019-20. Bournemouth went down.
But his form completely changed in the second tier. Last season, Danjuma had a hand in 25 goals during his 37 Bournemouth games – scoring 18 and creating seven more. That is said to have attracted interest from Liverpool, with Bournemouth requesting a fee in the region of £21.5million.

Liverpool face Danjuma competition – from West Ham and Leeds…
Back in May, The Sun claimed that West Ham were taking a look at Danjuma. Then, in July, Danjuma told Voetbal International that he wants to join a club like Leeds this summer. Whether Leeds actually want him remains to be seen, but his stats are hard to ignore.
Which club suits him best? He would not start for Leeds and the Whites do not offer European football. At Liverpool, there is European football – but he is way down the pecking order. At West Ham, he is in contention to start and the Europa League would provide minutes. West Ham is his best move.
