Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic could now U-turn and join Arsenal, with GiveMeSport reporting that he really wants a Premier League move.

Mikel Arteta will be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements this month after his star striker, Gabriel Jesus, suffered a knee injury at the World Cup.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with moves for both Mykhaylo Mudryk and Joao Felix during the first week of the transfer window.

But Arsenal has also been touted as a possible destination for Vlahovic, with Corriere dello Sport claiming Arteta’s men would be ready to make their move should he become available.

Now, it seems that the 22-year-old is eyeing a potential switch to England as his future in Turin remains uncertain.

Vlahovic could join Arsenal

GiveMeSport reports that Juventus will have to part with one or two big names this summer after recent controversy involving their previous board members.

Vlahovic could be one of those big names and the Premier League looks like his most likely destination.

Chelsea are said to be considering signing a new striker, while Manchester United and Arsenal have tried to sign the Serbian forward in the past.

Of course, Vlahovic rejected the chance to move to north London around a year ago as he opted to join Juve for around £67 million instead.

But a lot has changed since he made that decision, with The Old Lady in financial turmoil and Arsenal now flying high.

The ‘lightning quick’ striker is seemingly more open to a switch to England than he was in the past and Arsenal would be an attractive prospect for most players at the moment.

Arteta needs to bring in attackers, especially a player that can play through the middle while Jesus is out. But the Brazilian has been exceptional for the Gunners so far and it seems unlikely that they will be looking to add another striker of Vlahovic’s calibre to the squad.
