However, Blues boss Thomas Tuchel wants the winger to stay and fight for his place rather than leave.
Nevertheless, Brendan Rodgers is keen on bringing in another winger before tonight’s 11 pm deadline.
Hudson-Odoi is not the only player on the Northern Irishman’s radar with the club also in talks for Red Bull Leipzig’s Ademola Lookman.
Hudson-Odoi would be an upgrade on Albrighton
As the years go on, the need to replace ageing members in a team gets greater.
At 31, Marc Albrighton could use replacing, and Hudson-Odoi would be a great replacement for Leicester.
The youngster has shown glimpses of his quality at Stamford Bridge.
His talents have not gone unrecognised with European giants Bayern Munich known admirers of the ace.
With the Champions League and Europa League among his trophies, he has already enjoyed success.
With three years left on his current deal, a transfer is likely to cost Leicester a hefty fee.
But, in the face of signing one of England’s most promising talents, it would prove a worthwhile investment for the club.
Meanwhile, West Ham have enquired over a player who wants to join the Foxes.
