Leeds United want Ben Brereton Diaz and may only need to spend £13 million to sign the Blackburn Rovers striker this summer, according to a report from The Sun.
Leeds are continuing to step up their summer plans. Of course, Brenden Aaronson is already through the door. And Rasmus Kristensen looks set to follow in his footsteps in a £10 million deal.

Jesse Marsch’s men have addressed a couple of areas which were a concern. But there are several more – and one of those is up front.
Leeds really suffered not having Patrick Bamford for the majority of this past campaign. Neither Daniel James or Rodrigo were able to step up in his absence.

So the Whites will almost certainly sign a new forward. And one name on their radar is Brereton Diaz.
The Chile international scored 22 times for Blackburn this past season. And the injury that kept him out in February and March certainly hurt Rovers’ hopes of making the play-off places.
Brereton Diaz only has one year left on his contract at Ewood Park. And with that, The Sun reports that he will cost just £13 million. Meanwhile, Leeds face competition from the likes of Everton, Sevilla, Valencia amongst others.
Leeds want Brereton Diaz
Brereton Diaz’s form has come as something of a surprise. In total, he has scored 39 goals in 170 Championship games. And obviously, more than half of those strikes came this year.
But he is only 23 years of age. There is plenty of time for the former Nottingham Forest man to improve further.
At £13 million, there really is the potential for a deal to be an absolute steal. Tony Mowbray described him as ‘extraordinary‘. So Leeds will be in danger of being left to kick themselves if he ends moving elsewhere.
