Leeds United have now made a £10 million bid for Rasmus Kristensen with talks with Red Bull Salzburg now underway, according to reports from Danish outlet Ekstra Bladet.
Leeds already have one signing through the door this summer. Brenden Aaronson has joined the Whites after they managed to keep themselves in the Premier League.

And he may not be the only player to join from Jesse Marsch’s former club. Reports this week claimed that Leeds want Kristensen. In fact, Fabrizio Romano suggested that the Whites were ready to make a bid.
It seems that they have now made that offer. Ekstra Bladet reports that Leeds have offered £10 million for Kristensen.

The 24-year-old is yet to get the green light to start talks with Leeds. But the two clubs are in negotiations over a potential move.
Leeds bid for Kristensen
Leeds fans will take encouragement from how swiftly the club are acting in the market. The moves for Aaronson and Kristensen are risks because neither player has Premier League experience. But both are internationals who have enjoyed superb campaigns in Austria.
Spending £10 million on Kristensen could lead to an inspired piece of business. He has actually scored 10 goals in all competitions from right-back.
Leeds struggled in that position this past season. Luke Ayling was not able to produce his best form and struggled with injury. Stuart Dallas is also out for some time to come.
Robin Koch did well towards the end of last season. But he is not the long-term solution. And neither Cody Drameh or Jamie Shackleton have had a long run of games in the Premier League.
Clearly, there is work to be done before Kristensen completes a move to Leeds. But the Whites are seemingly edging closer to a deal.
