Leeds have reportedly told Conor Gallagher that he will be firmly in their first-team plans should he choose to come to Elland Road this summer.
Gallagher is said to be on the list of targets for Marcelo Bielsa this summer, as the Leeds boss looks for more squad depth. As reported on TBR already this week, the Whites have reportedly made their interest known to Chelsea when it comes to Gallagher.

And now the Daily Mail has claimed that Leeds and Bielsa have already made a pitch to Gallagher. They have apparently explained the benefits they see in him moving to Elland Road, and see him as part of the first-team squad to compete with their regular midfielders.
Gallagher shone while with West Brom last season. However, he is still some way off breaking into was a deeply talented Chelsea squad.
Another Premier League loan is likely, then. Crystal Palace are also keen, while Newcastle have shown interest. But Leeds’ apparent promise of being in and around the first XI could well sway Gallagher’s thinking.
Gallagher perfect for Leeds right now
This Leeds squad doesn’t need much in all honesty. But it does need a few fresh faces and some added competition for places.
Bielsa will not want his current squad to rest on their laurels. And Gallagher is certainly good enough to keep this Whites squad on their toes.
Gallagher and Leeds seem a good match. He’d be in a good team, and get a good education off Bielsa. If he does well, and Chelsea still don’t pick him, then a permanent move to Elland Road would also be good.
