Leeds United, Newcastle and Everton are amongst a host of clubs monitoring CF Montreal attacking midfielder Djordje Mihailovic, according to a report from Jeunes Footeux.
Of course, Leeds fans are expecting to see themselves linked with a greater number of American names in the coming months.

Jesse Marsch has succeeded Marcelo Bielsa at a time when the San Francisco 49ers are increasing their stake at Elland Road. And obviously, Brenden Aaronson looked to be the club’s standout target during the January transfer window.
Jeunes Footeux reports that Mihailovic is wanted by a host of sides across Europe. Roma, Atalanta and Borussia Dortmund are watching the 23-year-old.

The report adds that Leeds, Newcastle and Everton are all closely monitoring Mihailovic.
Mihailovic could be an under the radar gem for likes of Leeds and Newcastle
The attacking midfielder has 25 assists in 106 games in Major League Soccer, including 16 in the league last season. And former Chicago Fire boss Veljko Paunovic described him as an ‘eight-and-a-half‘ in regards to his position.
That style would certainly suit the system that Leeds played under Marcelo Bielsa. Mateusz Klich has often played in that sort of position for the Whites over the last few years.
Obviously, it remains to be seen how Marsch will set his Leeds team up. But the USMNT international is one player that he will know a fair amount about.
He has not always found the going easy during his professional career. But he certainly looks to be an exciting prospect. And Jeunes Footeux suggests that he could leave for around £6.7 million.
That sort of price may tempt some supporters to write him off for not being exciting enough. And obviously, Major League Soccer is not yet fully respected in all corners of the globe.
But if he can find the right manager, Mihailovic could be a real gem for the likes of Leeds or Newcastle.
