Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo is a huge fan of Ruben Neves, according to The Sun – but it appears that any Tottenham fans hoping for the Wolves star to follow him to North London may be set for disappointment.
Neves could well be on the move in this window. It was previously claimed that Wolves plan to cash in on the Portuguese to bolster their transfer kitty.

The 24-year-old is represented by Jorge Mendes, as is Nuno. And of course, the Spurs boss knows the midfielder extremely well from his time at Molineux.
The pair helped Wolves secure promotion from the Championship at a canter. And they subsequently helped the club establish themselves as a force in the top flight.

So amid doubts over his future, some Spurs fans would be forgiven for wondering if they could be tempted to make a move.
However, The Sun seems to suggest that Tottenham may leave the path clear for their bitter rivals.
According to their report, Nuno remains a huge fan of the £35 million-rated Neves. However, a move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium looks unlikely at this stage.
Of course, that is all the more significant given where Neves looks most likely to end up, as things stand.
It was recently reported that Arsenal are in talks to sign him.
Spurs would be right to look elsewhere despite Nuno being a huge fan of Neves
Neves could prove to be an amazing signing should he move on this summer. However, Spurs may be making a wise decision if they decide against a pursuit.
They have much greater priorities this summer. So parting with £35 million for Neves may be hard to justify in the current climate.
But perhaps Nuno may also be wary of ruing of not signing Neves should he now complete a move elsewhere.
