Arsenal may be forced to finally move on from Manuel Locatelli this week, as Juventus look to tie up a deal for the Italian midfielder.
The Gunners have been interested in Locatelli throughout the summer and it was claimed a few weeks back that Arsenal had offered ‘immediate payments’ for the midfielder.
However, it’s gone quiet for the Gunners since when it comes to Locatelli and Juventus could now win the race.

Goal have claimed that Juve have set up another meeting with Locatelli for this week. The Turin club hope for it to go better than their previous one, where terms couldn’t be agreed.
Arsenal have a bid on the table of around £34m. However, Sassuolo have been waiting to see if Juventus match that offer. It’s widely known that Locatelli would prefer a move to Turin than London.
The Italian giants, then, hope to be able to convince Sassuolo in the coming days. It’s claimed they could offer some players in return, while a structured deal is also touted.
Game over
Arsenal fans have got themselves quite excited about Locatelli at times but it looks like it might be over now.
Juventus have always been the frontrunners. Most Gunners fans know that and any move for Locatelli would have been a huge bonus this summer.
The fact the player himself wants to stay in Italy has always meant this is an uphill struggle for Edu and Arsenal. Of course, they’ll be keeping a close eye on things this week. But for now, it appears Juve have got their man.
