Report: Juventus eye Gabriel Jesus loan

Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus is at the top of Juventus’ list of striker targets this summer, with Calciomercato. It reporting that the Old Lady want to take the Brazilian on an initial loan.

There has been plenty of speculation concerning Jesus this summer. It was previously suggested that he could move in the opposite direction as the Cityzens look to land Harry Kane.

More recently, Juve look to be keen on the 24-year-old. And it was recently reported that City had told the Serie A giants that Jesus will cost £43 million.

However, it appears that Juve have other ideas.

According to Calciomercato. It, they want to take Jesus on an initial loan that includes an obligation to buy.

Interestingly, the report claims that Juventus pursuing the forward is dependant on the club selling Cristiano Ronaldo first.

But Jesus will be their top target if the Portuguese leaves.

Manchester City have little reason to accept Juventus loan bid for Jesus

As things stand, Jesus looks set to be an important figure at the start of next season for Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola’s men, of course, lost Sergio Aguero this summer. And any pursuit of Kane is yet to bear fruit.

Perhaps a loan offer could ultimately work for City. If Juve commit to paying a huge fee, it could prove a good piece of business.

But City need strikers through the door first. And they surely need to know that they are going to receive a huge fee next summer.
