Arsenal may be offered the chance to sell Bernd Leno in January, with Calciomercato. It reporting that Juventus could target the German.

Leno’s future has become a talking point once again in the last few days.

Mikel Arteta took the surprise decision to drop him for Saturday’s clash with Norwich. It comes with the 29-year-old proving to be one of the few players to emerge with any credit from their defeat to Manchester City.

And it now seems that his exit could be on the cards in one of the upcoming windows.

As recently reported by the Daily Mail, his contract expires in 2023. And Arsenal are already considering letting him go. He reportedly earns £100,000-a-week.

Interestingly, the report claimed that there was little chance of a January exit. But it seems that their resolve could be tested in the winter.

According to Calciomercato. It, Juve could look at Leno. It appears to be suggested that he may head to Turin if the Serie A giants manage to offload Mattia Perin.

Selling Leno to Juventus in January could be worthwhile gamble from Arsenal

It remains to be seen how Ramsdale fares as number one. But should he thrive, Arsenal would surely be wise to consider letting Leno go.

It is a risk. But his value is only going one way as his contract runs down and he remains out of the side.

It is surely a gamble worth taking if they can find a replacement. That is obviously not easy in January. But links with the Old Lady do present Arsenal with an opportunity to perhaps receive a decent fee.
