Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus is now trying to force through a move to Everton in the next 24 hours, according to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf.

Just last week, reports suggested that Everton had agreed personal terms with the ‘incredible’ Kudus.

But it seems that the Dutch champions are not willing to let another one of their players leave.

Ajax have already lost both Antony and Lisandro Martinez to Manchester United this summer.

However Kudus is now taking matters into his own hands to force a move to Everton ahead of tomorrow’s deadline.

Kudus now trying to force Everton move

De Telegraaf reports that Kudus is following Antony’s example and has refused to train with Ajax today.

The 22-year-old has already agreed personal terms with Lampard’s men but Ajax are refusing to negotiate with the Toffees.

The Ghana international is set on a move to join Lampard at Goodison Park and is now trying to force the Dutch champions to negotiate.

Kudus has been excellent for the Eredivisie champions over the past two seasons and is a real enforcer in central midfield.

Lampard has already bolstered his midfield through the signing of Amadou Onana but if Kudus gets his way, there could be another addition before the window closes.

At just 22, Kudus has an incredibly high ceiling and has already shown he is capable of playing Champions League football.

Everton are arguably in need of another central midfielder, with Lampard playing Alex Iwobi in the position at the moment.

The Toffees have also allowed Dele Alli to leave on a season-long loan, so they may need to strengthen.

Kudus is also a versatile player who can play in different roles within the midfield, which could be valuable to Lampard.

But it remains to be seen whether Ajax will be willing to negotiate for their player. Kudus is certainly trying his best to force a move before the window shuts tomorrow night.
