Everton have been linked with Mohammed Kudus in recent days.
Earlier this week, The Athletic reported that the Toffees were eyeing the Ajax midfielder.
The report suggested that midfield is a key area Frank Lampard wants to improve before the window shuts.

Now, Ghana Soccer Net and Football Ghana – via Sport Witness – have provided an update on Everton’s pursuit of Kudus.
Ghana Soccer Net have suggested that Kudus ‘could end up’ at Everton on loan before the window closes as Lampard is keen for him to arrive.
In addition Everton and the Ghana international have reportedly ‘agreed on personal terms’ after Lampard promised he would be a starter.
The Everton boss ‘has not given up’ on a deal happening, but the problem is, Ajax are refusing to let Kudus go.
Football Ghana, meanwhile, have claimed that the Toffees could have competition from Wolves.
Apparently, the Molineux outfit has also decided to ‘join the pursuit’ for the Ajax midfielder.
They are ‘set to open talks’ with the player’s representatives over a possible loan move this summer.
Indeed, the outlet claims Kudus has held ‘crisis talks’ with Ajax boss Alfred Schreuder about his current position in the squad.
Ajax want to keep him, but Kudus wants more game time and ‘will fancy a dream move’ to the Premier League.
“He is a good player”
Predominantly a central midfielder, Kudus can fill in pretty much anywhere between the number six and ten positions.
Erik ten Hag has previously described his former player at the Amsterdam outfit as an “incredible talent“.
And Ajax’s Daley Blind has compared his club teammate to Barcelona and Netherlands ace Frenkie de Jong.
“He can play a man and make a gear,” Blind told Ajax TV in 2020, via Football Ghana.
“He is quite a bit like Frenkie in that respect.
“You can just see that he has a lot of quality. I think he will certainly help us on our way. He is a good player.”
