Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus is open to joining Everton this summer, according to The Athletic.
Everton have had a poor start to the season, picking up a single point from their first three fixtures.
They’ve also been hit with injuries to key players, as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Abdoulaye Doucoure are both unavailable.

Lampard could lose one of his key assets as well, with Anthony Gordon’s future at Goodison Park in serious doubt.
The former Chelsea boss is therefore keen to bring in several new signings before the window ends, and Kudus could be one of them.
Kudus open to joining Everton
Everton have been discussing a loan move for Kudus that would include a purchase option, but an agreement has yet to be reached.

The Toffees aren’t the only Premier League club showing an interest in Kudus, with Tottenham Hotspur sending scouts to watch the young Ghanaian.
Kudus is a central midfielder with an eye for goal, and has already notched five times for Ghana in 16 appearances.
What Kudus could offer Everton
A technically proficient left-footed player, his awareness and ability to keep hold of the ball under pressure are some of his biggest assets.
This would translate well to the Premier League where he’s likely to have a lot less time on the ball than he would in the Netherlands.

The ‘incredible’ Kudus has struggled for minutes since arriving at Ajax from FC Nordsjaelland in 2020.
He’s yet to register more than 1,000 minutes in a season at the Dutch champions, but was previously stuck behind Ryan Gravenberch in the pecking order, who has now moved to Bayern Munich.
Kudus may not immediately solve any of Everton’s issues, but would be a great signing for the future, and seeing as he’s open to a transfer, it’s an option that should be given a lot of consideration.
