Report: How many weeks Tottenham now expect Dejan Kulusevski to miss with injury

A report from the Daily Mail has revealed how many weeks Tottenham Hotspur now expect Dejan Kulusevski to miss with injury.

Kulusevski missed Spurs’ 3-1 loss to Arsenal on Saturday, with the Evening Standard reporting that he picked up a muscle injury on international duty

The 22-year-old has been a standout performer for Tottenham ever since making the switch from Juventus back in January. And Conte’s men certainly missed his creativity on Saturday as they struggled to create clear-cut openings in the north London derby.

And now the Daily Mail claims that the winger is expected to be out for at least two weeks with a hamstring injury.

Conte will be hoping to have Kulusevski back as soon as possible, with his attacking options looking light at this moment in time.

The Italian admitted that he is ‘really worried’ about Lucas Moura and the Brazilian hasn’t featured for Spurs since August.

And with Kulusevski sidelined, Conte only had one attacking option on the bench on Saturday in Bryan Gil.

The Spaniard doesn’t seem to be a player that the Italian can rely on either, as he’s yet to play a single minute for Spurs.

Conte made five changes against the Gunners on Saturday and even sacrificed Heung-Min Son and Richarlison after going 3-1 down.

But Gil was still not introduced as the Italian favoured his more defensive options from the bench.

Kulusevski has been a key player for Spurs under Conte and he will be desperate to get the Swedish international back to full fitness as soon as possible.

Spurs face a packed fixture schedule over the next six weeks, with games coming thick and fast before the World Cup. If Kulusevski is out for a minimum of two weeks, he’ll miss crucial games against Eintracht Frankfurt, Brighton and Everton.
