Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has admitted he’s really concerned about Lucas Moura after he missed the north London derby yesterday.
Conte’s men fell to a 3-1 defeat at the Emirates yesterday as their unbeaten start in the Premier League came to an end.
The Italian was without both Dejan Kulusevski and Moura, with his attacking options looking very light on the day.
Moura hasn’t played for Spurs since the 2-2 draw against Chelsea back in August. And after yesterday’s loss, Conte has shared that the £25 million man is still not close to returning.

Conte concerned about Moura
“Now we have to play every three days, we have to move on,” Conte said.
“We have to try to not have other injuries because today Kulusevski was out. Moura, I’m really worried because he’s really far to recover.”
Moura has fallen down the pecking order over the past nine months, after the arrival of Kulusveski and then Richarlison this summer.
The winger has only played 12 minutes this season, with two appearances coming as a substitute before suffering an injury.

Conte did previously hint that Moura could have been available for yesterday’s clash against Arsenal. But it seems the 30-year-old has suffered another setback.
The Italian boss will be hoping to have both Kulusevski and Moura back as soon as possible, with a packed fixture schedule before the World Cup next month.
Bryan Gil was the only attacking option for Conte from the bench yesterday but Conte doesn’t seem to be convinced by his suitability to Premier League football.
