Report: Harry Kane amazed by impact Tottenham man has had on him

Harry Kane has been left amazed by how Antonio Conte has transformed his fitness levels so quickly and is loving working with the Tottenham Hotspur boss, according to a report from The Athletic.

Kane has just produced one of the finest individual displays of the season this weekend. The striker was outstanding as Tottenham beat Manchester City on Saturday.

Kane scored twice, had another ruled out after Dejan Kulusevski was offside in the build-up, and played a sumptuous pass before the opener.

The Tottenham talisman has arguably been a lot better than his scoring record this season would suggest. But he still has 17 in all competitions.

Interestingly, 10 of those goals have come since Conte was appointed, and six since the turn of the year. And it would certainly appear that Conte is having a major impact on his game.

Reports this week claimed that Kane had told the Tottenham hierarchy that they must back Conte this summer.

And The Athletic has now provided further details regarding what the striker thinks about the Italian.

They suggest that Kane is loving life under Conte. And he has been amazed by how the Tottenham boss has transformed his fitness levels so quickly.

Tottenham squandered a brilliant position under Mauricio Pochettino as they challenged for the Premier League title and Champions League glory. They missed the boat to capitalise and fell backwards.

They simply cannot allow that to happen again. Conte is the man to take the club forward. He looked a world-class appointment. And he has clearly won Kane over.

Tottenham cannot let this opportunity slip through their grasp. They had a glimpse of what they could achieve on Saturday at the Etihad Stadium.
