Fiorentina have now revised their offer for Giovani Lo Celso after Tottenham Hotspur rejected a loan bid for the midfielder, according to a report from The Times.
Lo Celso looks set to be one player who leaves Spurs in the final weeks of the window. He fell out of favour under Antonio Conte, and spent the second-half of last season on loan with Villarreal.

It appears that he has not done enough to regain a spot in the side. He played no part in Spurs’ pre-season tour to South Korea. And the offers are now coming in.
Reports this week claimed that Fiorentina had seen a loan bid for the Argentinian rejected. That has not put the Serie A side off a deal for the 26-year-old.

The Times reports that I Viola have returned with a fresh bid. They want to take Lo Celso on an initial loan with a view to a £15 million permanent move.
It is not clear whether Tottenham will accept the offer. But The Times does suggest that they value him at £20 million. So it would probably not be a huge surprise if they wanted more. At the very least, they will surely want Fiorentina to agree to an obligation to buy.
Fiorentina make fresh offer for Giovani Lo Celso
Lo Celso is surely going to leave Tottenham before the end of the window. He is not in Conte’s plans and there are offers on the table.
It does benefit Tottenham in the slightest to keep him. Even a straight loan is more likely to help his value than staying on the periphery of Antonio Conte’s squad.
Lo Celso has been labelled a ‘magnificent‘ player. So Spurs may feel entitled to hold out for their valuation to be met.
But if Fiorentina are willing to commit to making the deal permanent next summer for £15 million, that is not a terrible option.
