Marco Asensio has not enjoyed the easiest start to the season at Real Madrid.
The winger has only played 18 minutes of football in all competitions this season.
A report from Fichajes suggests that Asensio now wants to leave Real Madrid in January.

Arsenal were previously interested in Asensio in the summer, but a bid never materialised.
The ‘extraordinary’ player is now keen to leave Real Madrid as soon as possible.
He may not have to wait that long, as his contract runs out next summer.
The 26-year-old broke back into the Spain squad in June.
However, his lack of game time this season has put his place in the squad in serious doubt.
He can’t leave the club in time to change that, but will want to find a new home as quickly as possible to avoid missing out on future tournaments.
Asensio wants to leave Real Madrid in January
A move for Asensio would make sense for Arsenal.
Reports suggests that Arsenal are keen to loan out Brazilian forward Marquinhos.
However, Mikel Arteta will only sanction a move if they bring in a replacement.
Asensio would provide immediate competition for Bukayo Saka on the right wing.

Arteta could also use Reiss Nelson in that role, but Asensio would represent an immediate upgrade.
Carlo Ancelotti has been unimpressed by Asensio this season, and has ruled out a contract renewal.
Arsenal would therefore have to decide if they want to wait for Asensio’s contract to run out in the summer or make a bid in a few months.
Given Asensio wants to leave Real Madrid in January, and AC Milan have ‘more options to acquire the services’ than Arsenal, they may need to act quickly to get a deal done.
