The January transfer window is now open, and Everton will be looking to make the right additions this month.
They sit precariously close to the relegation zone and have struggled in front of goal this season.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s fitness has been a key issue this season.
The 25-year-old has made just seven league appearances, although he did start against Manchester City on Saturday.
Neal Maupay has only scored once in the league, and Everton have now recalled Ellis Simms from his loan spell at Sunderland.
The Toffees earned a point at the current Premier League champions thanks to a wonder goal from Demarai Gray.

However, they need to find a more consistent way of finding the back of the net to ensure survival this campaign.
AS believe that Everton are now considering a move for Almeria forward Largie Ramazani.
Ramazani is primarily a left-winger, but does enjoy cutting inside on his stronger right foot.
The ex-Manchester United player has only scored twice this season, but managed eight goals in Spain’s second tier last season.
He could offer Frank Lampard’s side an alternative in wide areas that will help the likes of Calvert-Lewin score more regularly.
Everton considering move for Ramazani
The report suggests that Everton have contacted Almeria about the 21-year-old.
They state, ‘Almeria have referred to his termination [release] clause: 40 million euros’, which equates to £35.5m.
It’s a fee that’s unlikely to make any deal easy, with Everton unlikely to have huge funds available this month.
Ramazani came through the Manchester United academy, and made a solitary first team appearance in the Europa League.

He did play more than 25 times with James Garner while at Old Trafford, and the midfielder could end up being the middle man between player and club.
Everton are considering a move for another player who has a much more recent link to Man United than Ramazani.
The Toffees are reportedly in talks with Anthony Elanga’s agent over a loan move this month.
A loan would make much more sense than any permanent transfer in January.
However, there will be the opportunity to negotiate with Almeria if Everton decide Ramazani is the player they really want.
