Everton have joined Spurs in the race to land Valencia midfielder, Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to a report from the Spanish media outlet, El Desmarque.
Kondogbia is a man in-demand following a brilliant season over in La Liga with Valencia.

The 27-year-old is apparently wanted by Spurs as well, with Jose Mourinho a keen admirer of the dynamic midfield star.
However, Carlo Ancelotti is now also keen on landing the midfielder. The Toffees are desperate to strengthen this summer following an upturn in form under the Italian manager.

But Everton, as well as Spurs, will need to pay around £61m for Kondogbia, with Valencia unwilling to budge from his release clause as things stand.
Despite appearing for France at an international level, Kondogbia has recently been playing for the Central African Republic. Indeed, he’s made four appearances since switching allegiances in 2018.

If Everton want to make a massive splash in the transfer market then signing someone like Kondogbia would be a massive statement of intent.
The powerful midfielder has been brilliant for Valencia. He’s driven the club forward from the middle of the park and left the Mestalla outfit within touching distance of the Champions League places.
A number of other clubs, including Inter Milan and Sevilla, are thought to be keen on Kondogbia.
However, a move to the Premier League may well appeal. Spurs and Everton may well be in the same ball-park in terms of transfer fees in the summer. It seems, then, that Kondogbia might have a decision to make in the coming months.
