Everton have recently asked for information on Premier League target Randal Kolo Muani, but RMC Sport reports that he has his sights on joining a club performing better than the Toffees.

This January window is going to be huge for Frank Lampard’s men. The Toffees are, once again, languishing in the bottom-half of the Premier League table. And it appears that another relegation battle is on the cards.

Unfortunately, they do not have Richarlison this time around. Anthony Gordon has not been as impressive. And Dominic Calvert-Lewin has not been able to shake off his struggles with injury.

So they definitely need further additions. And it seems that they set their sights extremely high.

According to RMC Sport, Eintracht Frankfurt received approaches from both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool for Kolo Muani before the World Cup. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are also admirers of the 24-year-old.

He subsequently played his part in France reaching the final in Qatar. And with that, his value has now risen to £53 million.

Kolo Muani is currently likely to see out the season in the Bundesliga. But RMC Sport adds that Everton have also made contact about a potential.

However, the report suggests that Kolo Muani will have his sights set higher. Therefore, it appears that the Toffees will miss out.

Kolo Muani would have undoubtedly been an unbelievable signing for Everton. He has eight goals and 11 assists in all competitions. And clearly, several European heavyweights are keen on him.

He was ‘brilliant‘ at the World Cup when he did feature. And he can play in a number of positions across the forward line.

But with Everton facing a fight to stay in the Premier League, it is hardly a surprise that they do not appear to still be contenders.
