Crystal Palace have joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in the race to sign Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin, with the Daily Mail reporting that the £16 million man’s future at St James’ Park is uncertain.
The Daily Mail reports that Steve Bruce may have dropped Saint-Maximin at the weekend due to his recent performances in training, despite later claiming that the Frenchman was struggling with an injury.

And it appears that a summer move could potentially prove to be on the cards.
According to the Mail, both Palace and Wolves are monitoring the 22-year-old’s situation. And it is suggested that more teams are likely to join the race should he become available ahead of the summer.

TBR View – Huge blow for Newcastle to lose Saint-Maximin
Bruce may not be happy with Saint-Maximin’s recent form. But it will surely not be a popular decision should the club decide to cash in this summer.
Admittedly, Saint-Maximin has provided one goal and one assist in the Premier League.
But it was telling that plenty of Wolves fans felt that he could follow in Adama Traore’s footsteps when the initial reports surrounding their club’s interest emerged last month.
He is a player who appears to have enormous potential. And he has arguably been one of the most exciting players on show in what has been an underwhelming season on Tyneside.
Newcastle would be making a big mistake to let him go. The queue of Premier League admirers that is beginning to form surely highlights that.
