Antonio Conte has specifically requested Tottenham Hotspur sign Weston McKennie this summer, according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
McKennie has been linked with Spurs on a few occasions, particularly since Fabio Paratici’s appointment in North London. In January, reports claimed that Paratici had spoken to his agents about a move.

Obviously, no deal would be agreed. But it would seem that Tottenham are ready to reignite their interest in McKennie in the summer.
Reports suggested that Juve valued the American at £29 million in January. Now however, Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that the Old Lady may not be open to letting him go in the coming months.

But Conte has made it clear to Paratici that he wants the midfielder. So it would be no surprise to see Spurs test Juventus’ resolve to keep him in the summer.
Tottenham fans will back Conte with any signing he wants as he reportedly eyes Weston McKennie
This summer could be an exciting one for Spurs. They could well have Champions League football to look forward to next year. And with that, they stand a great chance of keeping the likes of Conte and Harry Kane.
It looks imperative that Paratici does his best to deliver the signings Conte wants in the next window. So if he is pushing for a move for McKennie, then Tottenham definitely need to ask the question.
He has not always had the easiest time in Turin. But he has been labelled ‘extraordinary‘ in the past. And he had enjoyed a much better season before his current injury.
Certainly, if Conte wants him at Tottenham, Paratici must see if a deal is possible. It could be another brilliant signing from Serie A if Juve change their stance.
