Antonio Conte has taken a ‘big shine’ to Oliver Skipp and agrees with those inside Tottenham Hotspur that he is going to be a key player for the club in the years to come, according to a report from Football London.
Skipp was arguably one of the players who could have hardly done more during the ill-fated tenure of Nuno Espirito Santo.

He went into this season off the back of an outstanding loan spell with Norwich City. Nevertheless, there was still a debate to be had about whether he needed to be loaned out this year too.
Proving himself in the Premier League looked to be the next step in the 21-year-old’s development. And moving out on loan may have made taking that step easier.
However, Skipp stayed. And he has gone on to be a shining light for Tottenham so far this term.

Nuno clearly had a lot of faith in the youngster. So with the Portuguese losing his job and being replaced by Conte, some may have feared what the immediate future may hold for Skipp.
But the good news is Conte already has high hopes for him.
Football London reports that the Italian has taken a ‘big shine’ to the starlet. He also believes that he has an extremely bright future ahead.
Tottenham fans will love seeing Skipp playing key role under Conte
Conte should have no need to try and boost his popularity right now. It is a huge coup for Tottenham to bring him to the club.
But making Skipp a focal point in his plans will only help him keep the fans on side.
The academy graduate has been exceptional throughout the season. And he was brilliant again on Sunday.
The supporters love him. And many clearly believe that he is destined for the top.
Conte seemingly feels just as hopeful.
