Report: Club identify replacement for £26m star with five PL clubs keen, including Tottenham, West Ham and Everton
The race is hotting up for Juventus star Weston McKennie with five Premier League clubs keen – including Tottenham, West Ham and Everton.
Now, Tutto Juve say that Juventus have identified a replacement for £26m-rated McKennie – in Monaco’s exciting midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.
The report says McKennie also has admirers from Crystal Palace and Aston Villa. TuttoSport, meanwhile, saw West Ham are also in the race.
Reports from Italy regarding McKennie’s future are rife and Gazzetta Dello Sport also say Rafa Benitez wants the ex-Schalke man at Everton.
Tchouameni for McKennie – Tottenham, Everton, West Ham or elsewhere?
McKennie is a top, top player. Juventus have seemingly found their replacement if McKennie goes – so where suits the USA ace best?
Tottenham could do with a midfielder as Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Winks and Sissoko are all linked with the exit door. But only if they go.
West Ham need midfielders as they lack depth ahead of a Euro 2020 campaign. Aston Villa have options, but Marvelous Nakamba is indifferent.
Everton are also a club with numerous options in the middle of the park and McKennie would hardly improve what they already have.
Crystal Palace are probably below McKennie – despite Patrick Vieira’s connections. His best move is either Tottenham or West Ham.
