Chelsea are willing to let Tammy Abraham join Arsenal this summer, according to The Sun.
Reports have been swirling around concerning the future of the Gunners’ number nine Alexandre Lacazette. According to the most recent news, the side is willing to let him leave in order to secure the 23-year-old.
Abraham endured a frustrating time in west London following the arrival of Thomas Tuchel. He played just six times under the German after he was appointed as Frank Lampard’s successor.
However, his Stamford Bridge nightmare could be about to come to an end.
The Sun is claiming Chelsea are willing to let Abraham join Arsenal on loan with an obligation to purchase for £40m. The north Londoners could be set to beat the likes of West Ham and Tottenham in the race to sign the ace.
He left Jack Grealish shocked with his ability on the ball. Speaking on his Instagram (via Birmingham Mail), the number 10 said: “Unbelievable. Couldn’t believe how good he was with the ball for how tall he is. Loved playing with him.”

Abraham would be an outstanding signing for Arsenal
Last season was an underwhelming campaign for Mikel Arteta’s men.
Part and parcel of their struggles was the lack of goals from their forwards. Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hit just 13 and 10 goals respectively. And, given the talent of the two players, you would say it is a poor return.
It has led to speculation over both players’ futures, but Lacazette seems the closest to leaving. The France international has just a year left on his current deal and an extension is nowhere in sight.
Replacing Lacazette with Chelsea ace Abraham would be sensational business from the Gunners.
The £80k-per-week striker has everything in his skillset, however his poise in front of goal is the most attractive. His finishing makes him a marked upgrade on Arsenal’s hitmen as they look to increase their goal tally next season.
