Chelsea are now ready for a potential transfer battle with Tottenham over the signing of Randal Kolo Muani.
ESPN claim the Blues are among the clubs who are keen on the Eintracht Frankfurt striker who went to the World Cup with France.
Last month, Spurs were linked with the Frenchman, while Manchester United have also been credited with an interest as they seek to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton have also been linked with the forward but his pricetag may prove to be a problem for any potential suitor.

Chelsea potentially ready to battle Tottenham for Kolo Muani
Kolo Muani is apparently keen to finish the season with Frankfurt and they want to keep the 24-year-old for the before perhaps allowing him to leave in the summer.
That is only if a suitable offer is received and the report says they want up to €90m (£79.4 million) and he doesn’t have a release clause.
Kolo Muani wants to stay in the Bundesliga ideally, and has interest from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, but it is hard to see them paying nearly £80 million for a player.
Jermaine Jenas raved about Kolo Muani after he was subbed on for France during the BBC’s coverage of the World Cup final.
“He’s made a difference, Kolo Muani. He’s been the one that seems to have it in him. He’s been energetic. He’s been fighting,” Jenas said.
“Brilliant from possibly France’s best player since coming on the pitch, Kolo Muani. He’s had that bite in his game, that aggression, that will to get his team back into it.”
