Report: Celtic to learn loan decision on Harwood-Bellis this month
Celtic will learn if Taylor Harwood-Bellis will join them on loan from Manchester City this month, according to a report from The Sun on Sunday (5/6; page 65).
The Hoops are looking to build on a brilliant first year under Ange Postecoglou. Of course, they are set to return to the Champions League group-stages.
With that, the Celtic fans will hope to see plenty of additions. The good news is that they appear to have already made plenty of progress at centre-back.

Reports have claimed that Cameron Carter-Vickers has agreed personal terms ahead of a permanent move following his fantastic loan spell. And he may not be the only defender to join.
Sky Sports recently reported that Celtic want Harwood-Bellis on loan from City. The 20-year-old has previously been on loan with Blackburn, Anderlecht and Stoke City.
Celtic do face competition. The Sun on Sunday (5/6; page 65) reports that Burnley also want the England under-21 star. Of course, the Clarets have been heavily linked with appointing Vincent Kompany as their next manager.
The report adds that City plan to make a decision on Harwood-Bellis’ future this month. So Celtic may not need to wait long to find out if he is Parkhead-bound.
Celtic to learn Harwood-Bellis loan verdict this month
Obviously, Kompany being appointed at Turf Moor would not help Celtic’s bid to sign Harwood-Bellis. But the Hoops still have a strong chance of a deal.
Reports earlier this season claimed that Postecoglou has a lot of admirers at City. So they will surely trust the Celtic boss to really help their ‘exceptional‘ talent develop.
Carter-Vickers’ stock has risen considerably since he joined the Bhoys. That may make Harwood-Bellis’ task of getting into the team tougher. But there will surely be many working behind the scenes at City thinking that he would be better off heading north of the border.
