Bryan Gil reacts to reports he wants to leave Tottenham at all costs
Bryan Gil has taken to Twitter to react to reports from Mundo Deportivo claiming that he wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur at all costs..
Bryan has made a mixed start to life in the Premier League. There was a lot of excitement surrounding his arrival, with Spurs paying Sevilla £21.6 million for the winger. Erik Lamela, of course, also moved in the opposite direction.
He has looked bright when he has featured for Tottenham. However, he has now made nine substitute appearances in the Premier League. And yet, he is still awaiting the chance to make his full league debut for the club.
In fact, he has not yet been on the pitch for 90 minutes across all of those appearances. And with that, speculation surrounding his future has started up.
Fabrizio Romano recently suggested that Valencia were pushing to sign the 20-year-old. And Mundo Deportivo reports that Real Sociedad are also keen on the Spain international.
Romano claimed that Tottenham’s stance on Bryan’s future may depend on their pursuit of Adama Traore. But it would appear that the youngster is hopeful of securing a move away.
Mundo Deportivo reported that Bryan is keen to leave Tottenham at all costs. It was claimed that he is not happy in England.
However, Gil has since taken to Twitter to question the claims…

Tottenham will hope Bryan Gil will kick on after tough start
It has not been the easiest time for Bryan since he arrived at Tottenham. So it would not have been a surprise if he had some sort of doubts about staying.
Of course, Tottenham may yet welcome more significant offers. Unfortunately, his time in the capital is yet to really ignite, even if there have been glimpses.
But it would be a real shame if he left permanently during this window. Graham Roberts has previously described him as a superstar.
Tottenham will be wary of keeping an unhappy player. But judging by Bryan’s response to the reports on social media, he is not ready to throw in the towel.
