French newspaper L’Equipe claim that Bayer Leverkusen have tabled an offer to sign Paris Saint-Germain right-back Thilo Kehrer. The Germany international is on the fringes at PSG under Mauricio Pochettino. Leverkusen have made an offer for Kehrer, with Arsenal recently linked.
Kehrer, 24, is one of a number of PSG players that are likely to leave the club this summer. PSG have brought in some huge-name players in the form of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos, Achraf Hakimi, Gini Wijnaldum – and of course, footballing legend Lionel Messi.
With Hakimi coming in from Inter Milan, Kehrer’s chances of game time have dramatically reduced. He needs a move this summer. Foot Mercato say Arsenal have looked into the signing of Kehrer – with L’Equipe claiming he is rated at £17million. But Leverkusen have stolen a march, tabling a bid.

Arsenal need to match Leverkusen offer for £17m-rated Kehrer
While he has endured a tricky spell at PSG, the £33million signing from Schalke is an excellent option at right-back. It is a position in which Arsenal require strengthening. Hector Bellerin’s future is away from the club and could engineer a move before the end of the transfer window.
Arsenal do have other options – Calum Chambers, Cedric and Ainsley Maitland-Niles can all play there. But Chambers is naturally a centre-back, Maitland-Niles a midfielder and Cedric no more than a back-up option. Germany international Kehrer is a bargain at £17million.
