Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are both interested in a deal for Celtic defender Josip Juranovic, according to a report from Tuttomercatoweb.
It is seeming increasingly likely that Juranovic will leave Parkhead in one of the coming windows. The 27-year-old has been an inspired signing for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Unfortunately for the Hoops, his form is not going unnoticed. Recent reports from 90min suggested that West Ham and Manchester United have their eye on the Croatia international.
Barcelona interested in Juranovic
And Tuttomercatoweb has now suggested that another couple of significant admirers have joined the race for Juranovic’s signature.

It is claimed that Barca and Atleti both want the former Legia Warsaw defender. The report suggests that Juranovic’s impressive showing at the Qatar World Cup could pave the way for a move away from Celtic in January.
Of course, Juranovic would find it difficult to turn down the likes of Barcelona or Atletico should they come calling next month.
Xavi has struggled to settle on a right-back this season. Both Hector Bellerin and Jules Kounde have played there following their summer arrivals. However, there is already speculation that Bellerin could leave. Meanwhile, Kounde is more naturally a centre-back.
Atleti meanwhile, have not had the best year. They find themselves 13 points back of Barca in La Liga. But Diego Simeone’s system suits defenders. So Juranovic may relish the chance to move to the Spanish capital if a bid is made.
It is a blow for Celtic. Juranovic is a ‘sensational‘ talent. But clearly, they can expect to make a huge profit if he does leave.
