Barcelona have now increased their bid for Raphinha, with Sport reporting that they are now not prepared to offer anymore for the Leeds United star.
Barca continue to be heavily linked with a move for the Brazilian. There have been a raft of reports – predominantly from Spain – suggesting that a deal is well down the line.

Reports have claimed that Raphinha has agreed personal terms with the Catalan giants. But Barcelona are still yet to agree a fee with Leeds.
Their first offer was reportedly worth £29.5 million. Unsurprisingly, it appears that Leeds had absolutely no interest in accepting that bid for the Brazilian.

And Barcelona are now set to return with an improved offer. Sport is now reporting that they are prepared to pay £33.8 million up front. There would be a further £8.4 million coming in add-ons.
It is suggested that that would take their bid to the €50 million that Leeds want. And they are not willing to put anymore on the table to sign the 25-year-old.
Barcelona meanwhile, hope that Deco will put pressure on Leeds to discuss a fee with them. The retired midfielder is Raphinha’s agent. They are aware that other clubs may make better bids.
Leeds can expect uproar from fans if they accept £42.2 million Raphinha bid from Barcelona
Sport reports that Leeds want €50 million for Raphinha. However, it is hard to see Leeds accepting that kind of bid.
Raphinha has been their most outstanding player this season. He is an ‘unbelievable‘ Brazil international destined for the top of the game. So letting him go for £42.2 million would cause uproar amongst the Elland Road faithful.
Leeds would certainly struggle to replace him for that fee – even though it would break the record for the biggest fee they have received.
Admittedly, his contract situation does not leave the Whites in the strongest position. But they can surely expect to make a lot more if they sell him this summer.
