Mikel Arteta showed his frustrations at both Rob Holding and Bernd Leno during Arsenal’s pre-season friendly with Chelsea, Football London report.
Frustrating times
Holding was partly at fault for the first goal which Arsenal conceded on the day, as he went to press and then left a gap in behind.
Arteta apparently shouted ‘Rob’ from the bench in a desperate attempt to stop his centre defender from leaving his line exposed, but it was to no avail.
Football London also say that he was left frustrated with Leno, for his poor distrubtion.
Leno in trouble?
Leno looked to kick long when Arteta wanted him to aim to build from the back.
His action reported drew an ‘angry yell’ from Arteta, who then gestured at him to keep the ball down, during the Gunners’ 2-1 defeat.

The report will, perhaps, shed some light over why Arsenal seem to be looking for a new goalkeeper this summer.
Arteta’s side have been linked with a range of stoppers, with Aaron Ramsdale seemingly at the top of their list for now (Express).
Ramsdale actually isn’t the most natural goalkeeper with the ball at his feet.
But Arteta and Arsenal’s recruitment team must see signs of potential in the Sheffield United man to be pursuing him so heavily.
