Arsenal want Victor Osimhen, with Il Mattino reporting that the Gunners are prepared to pay £90 million for the striker also wanted by Tottenham Hotspur.
Osimhen has been one of the most impressive strikers in Europe this season. The Nigeria international has scored 17 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions for Napoli.

Arsenal absolutely need to sign a striker this summer. And reports have previously claimed that Osimhen is dreaming of moving to the Emirates in the future.
But they do face competition. Il Mattino (via Calciomercato) reports that Tottenham and Manchester United also want the 23-year-old.

Il Mattino reports that Napoli have insisted that they are yet to receive an offer for the forward. But there have been suggestions that Arsenal have indeed bid. In fact, the report claims that they are prepared to pay £90 million for Osimhen.
Arsenal want Victor Osimhen
It would certainly be a big statement if Arsenal offered £90 million for Osimhen. Such a deal would smash their club-record for a signing.
There is reason to believe that he could be a fantastic signing. Obviously, he is a young player with room to improve further. But he has already impressed in several leagues.
He has done well in Belgium, France and now Italy. Walter Mazzarri meanwhile, labelled him a phenomenal player.
It would potentially be a gamble to spend so much on him at this stage of his career. Arsenal probably need more than one striker this summer, particularly if Eddie Nketiah leaves the Emirates. And you would imagine that £90 million would take a massive bite out of the transfer budget.
But clearly, the stature of the clubs chasing his signature says a lot about the quality he would provide.
