Arsenal fans will hope that the end is in sight in the bid to land Jesus. It has been apparent for some time that the Gunners want the Manchester City man.

It does Mikel Arteta’s men no favours if talks drag on. Of course, they will want the best deal possible. But they are clearly ready to spend big to bring the forward to North London.

Jesus is an ‘exceptional‘ striker with a superb record at City when you consider that he has rarely been the main man.

The contract on offer at Arsenal makes a big statement. It shows how highly the Gunners would value Jesus.

Hopefully for Arsenal, the latest reports highlight that the club are now ready to go and get a deal across the line in the coming days.
