Arsenal are planning to offer Alexandre Lacazette a one-year contract extension, according to a report from Football London.
Lacazette’s future has been a talking point for some time. As noted by The Telegraph, he is out of contract at the end of next season.

That report suggested that it was unlikely that Arsenal would offer Lacazette fresh terms. And that would obviously open the door for the 29-year-old to leave this summer with the Gunners unlikely to let him go on a free.
But it has now been claimed that they have formulated a plan that may result in the Frenchman staying.

Football London reports that Lacazette is set to be given the chance to mull over a one-year extension.
TBR View: One-year extension the perfect move from Arsenal
You could understand why Arsenal were wary of offering Lacazette a lengthy contract.
According to Spotrac, he is on £182,000-a-week, and the Gunners have been made to rue offering lengthy contracts to older players in the past.
This solution however, may be the perfect answer. Lacazette has come in for plenty of criticism during his time in North London, but he remains the Gunners’ top goalscorer this term.
He has scored 17 times in all competitions, and he has produced some big performances. So keeping him around for one more year looks to make a lot of sense.
