Arsenal are one of the teams to have been ‘seduced’ by Noni Madueke, with Foot Mercato reporting that Leeds United also want the PSV Eindhoven forward.

Madueke is attracting a lot of attention after an outstanding season in the Eredivisie.

The 19-year-old scored nine goals in all competitions. He also provided eight assists, having played all over the forward line.

He has been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund this summer. As noted by The Telegraph, he is seen as a potential replacement for Jadon Sancho.

Sancho is nearing a £77.4 million move to Manchester United. And it seems that the England international may not be the only one offered the chance to return to a Premier League club.

According to Foot Mercato, both Arsenal and Leeds have been ‘seduced’ by Madueke. It is noted that he will cost at least £17.2 million.

Arsenal move for Madueke may be tough viewing for bitter rivals

Of course, Madueke is no stranger to North London. He began his career with Spurs before leaving for the Netherlands in 2018.

So it would be quite the statement if Arsenal managed to bring him back to the Premier League.

He was linked with Bayern Munich earlier this year. And obviously, Dortmund see him as a potential replacement for Sancho.

Madueke can play up front, on either wing or as a 10. So it could be a masterstroke if Mikel Arteta’s side are able to make a move happen.
