Report: Arsenal schedule fresh Gabriel Jesus talks; confident about a deal
Arsenal believe that they have shown the strongest interest in Gabriel Jesus and have managed to schedule a fresh round of talks in their bid to sign the Manchester City star this summer, according to a report from The Telegraph.
Jesus looks to be a key target for the Gunners in this window. Previous reports have claimed that Arsenal have all but agreed personal terms for the Brazilian.
Meanwhile, there were reports at the weekend that Mikel Arteta’s men were ready to offer Jesus a contract worth £190,000-a-week. And it seems that that offer will be put to the 25-year-old in the near future.

The Telegraph reports that Arsenal have now scheduled another round of talks. They believe that they are well-placed in a race that also includes Tottenham and Real Madrid.
Arsenal are confident of being able to strike a deal with Manchester City, who want £50 million. But Jesus delaying a decision on his future is said to be a concern for Arteta and Edu.
Arsenal schedule Gabriel Jesus talks
It does appear that the transfer window is going to kick into a much higher gear in the weeks ahead. Players will soon return from international duty or their breaks. And with that, deals are likely to progress much quicker.
It may not be too long before a resolution on Jesus’ future is found. Arsenal will certainly hope that the upcoming discussions prove to be a success.
Jesus is in a strong position, having attracted so much interest. He is an ‘exceptional‘ striker with a number of opportunities on the table.
Arsenal would surely be wise therefore, to try and wrap up a deal as soon as possible. The longer they leave the door open, the more likely it becomes that they will miss out.
