Report: Arsenal player attracts Lazio and Napoli bids in last few hours
Both Lazio and Napoli have contacted Sead Kolasinac in the last few hours in bids to bring the Arsenal left-back to Serie A during the summer transfer window, according to a report from Calciomercato.
As things stand, Kolasinac is set to return to the Emirates. The left-back spent the last few months out on loan with Schalke.
But with the Bundesliga side suffering relegation, they have been unable to put together a move to try and keep the Bosnia and Herzegovina international.
It appears that Arsenal may be just as disappointed as anyone that he will not join Schalke permanently.
According to Calciomercato, he is no longer part of Mikel Arteta’s plans.
But the good news is Kolasinac does now have offers on the table. According to Calciomercato, bids from Lazio and Napoli have arrived in the last few hours.
The report adds that Kolasinac wants to move to Italy.
Arsenal will welcome Lazio and Napoli bids for Kolasinac
It does appear that Arsenal are working extremely hard to overhaul their squad this summer.
The Gunners have been linked with bids for a number of players. But of course, to get the new faces through the door, others need to leave.
Clubs like Napoli and Lazio should be able to put an attractive bid on the table. And Kolasinac is keen to go.
So surely there is every chance that a deal can be agreed. Arsenal are unlikely to force the Serie A pair to clear too many hurdles.
