Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will know that a successful January transfer window could be the key to maintaining their title challenge.
Arteta’s side are currently working in Dubai ahead of the Premier League restarting.
He’s still missing a number of his key players due to their participation at the World Cup.
Gabriel Martinelli is still with the Brazil squad, and England pair Aaron Ramsdale and Bukayo Saka remain with the Three Lions.

One player who was knocked out of the tournament last night was Granit Xhaka.
His Switzerland team fell to a devastating 6-1 defeat to Portugal, although the 30-year-old is already on his way to Dubai.
TuttoJuve now believe Arsenal want to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Serbian would be a serious contender for Xhaka’s spot in Arteta’s side.
Both function as number eights, and Milinkovic-Savic has been sensational in Serie A this season.
Arsenal want to sign Milinkovic-Savic
The report suggests that Juventus are keen to sign the Serb in the summer, and Arsenal now want to anticipate this move.
They believe Arsenal will go ‘all-in’ for Milinkovic-Savic in January, and he would consider a move to The Emirates.
Milinkovic-Savic was one of Serbia’s key players at the World Cup.
However, he struggled in a disorganised side that couldn’t get past the group stages.
The 27-year-old did score against Cameroon, but failed to match the statistics he’s been racking up in Italy.
Milinkovic-Savic already has five goals and seven assists in all competitions for Lazio this season.

He’s been described as ‘the best midfielder in the world’ by Lazio’s president.
This is hardly surprising given their president Claudio Lotito may be trying to drive up his price tag.
Lotito values Milinkovic-Savic at £105m, which is likely to be way out of the Gunners’ budget.
No matter how much Arsenal want to sign Milinkovic-Savic, they won’t be able to justify that price tag.
Given Xhaka’s form this season, with Ian Wright believing him to be the club’s best player this campaign, an expensive alternative won’t be high on their list of priorities.
Especially with the new that Gabriel Jesus has just had to have knee surgery.
Arteta is likely to want to use any available funds in January to seek an alternative for his Brazilian centre-forward.
