Arsenal moving for Youri Tielemans on deadline day has not been ruled out, with 90 Min reporting there could be a last minute bid.

The Gunners’ interest in Tielemans has been well documented and they’ve been linked with a move for the Leicester City man all summer.

Reports have suggested that Arsenal could yet make a move for the 25-year-old before the window shuts

But Arsenal have not submitted an official offer for Tielemans yet, despite needing reinforcements in central midfield.

There could still be hope for Gunners fans though, as a move on deadline day has not been ruled out.

Arsenal moving for Tielemans not been ruled out

90 Min reports that Tielemans is still on Arsenal’s radar ahead of tomorrow’s deadline.

And with just 12 months left on his current deal, a late move hasn’t been ruled out by sources close to the deal.

Tielemans has been a key player for Brendan Rodgers’ side over the past few seasons and would fit in well at Arsenal.

Rodgers told the Daily Mail last year that Tielemans is ‘one of Europe’s top midfielders’ and Mikel Arteta has been handed two injury blows in central midfield over the past week.

Both Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny have been sidelined and now the Gunners look short in midfield.

It could force Arsenal into making a late move for a centre-midfield player and Tielemans seems like the perfect fit.

The Belgian is a top quality player and could be available at a very cheap price due to his contract situation.

It’s unclear why Arsenal haven’t made an official approach for the player yet, but it seems like too good of a deal to turn down for the Gunners.

Tielemans may not have enjoyed his best season for the Foxes during the last campaign, but he has shown his quality over the past few seasons.

The Leicester man would provide a brilliant option for Arteta while providing depth and competition for Partey and Granit Xhaka.
