Arsenal are amongst the Premier League sides monitoring Moussa Dembele, with the striker approaching the final year of his contract with Lyon, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
The Gunners have already been linked with one Lyon star today. Reports from Italy claimed that Arsenal are back in the running to sign Houssem Aouar.

And it would appear that they may set their sights on a double deal from Les Gones. Foot Mercato reports that Arsenal have joined Manchester United in monitoring Dembele.
Dembele has enjoyed another impressive campaign in Ligue 1 following his return from a loan spell with Atlético Madrid. He has 10 goals in 20 games for Peter Bosz’s men.

In fact, he now has 42 goals in 96 games in the top-flight following his move from Celtic. Unfortunately for Lyon, they are not in the strongest position.
Foot Mercato reports that Dembele’s deal expires in 2023. Lyon meanwhile, may be prepared to sell for as little as £25 million, according to the Daily Mail.
Moussa Dembele could be an inspired buy for Arsenal
Dembele is enjoying a real purple patch right now. He has now scored six goals in his last eight league appearances for Lyon. And he has put a disappointing season last year behind him.
He is a player who can certainly get supporters out of their seats with his pace and quick feet. And he is approaching what could be the peak years of his career.
Certainly, if everything clicks for Dembele at Arsenal, paying £25 million could be an absolutely inspired piece of business from Mikel Arteta’s men.
Brendan Rodgers previously compared Dembele with Didier Drogba. He also noted that he is a ‘big-game player’.
There may well be a large number of Arsenal fans who would welcome a move for Dembele this summer.
