Arsenal intend to offer Real Madrid a good deal in an attempt to sign Martin Odegaard during the summer transfer window, according to AS.
The 22-year-old checked in at the Emirates Stadium during the January transfer window, shining during the second half of the campaign.
He played 29 times for the Gunners, scoring two goals and registering two assists. Crucially though he was a regular in the team and got plenty of game time.

Odegaard’s future remains up in the air. Zinedine Zidane didn’t want the Norwegian to leave in January, although it’s unclear what plans he has for the player.
Ultimately he sanctioned the January loan and that could suggest he’s not entirely convinced by the £80,000-a-week maestro.
Arsenal won’t be in Europe next season and landing a player like Odegaard would have to be viewed as a coup.
The Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is a big fan and these fresh reports could delight the fan base.
Odegaard typically operated as a No.10 for Arsenal. He can, however, play as a more conventional midfielder.
Dani Ceballos will return to Madrid in the summer and perhaps Arteta sees Odegaard as a creative central midfielder.
Madrid will have a big say in the player’s future and it’s up to them to make a decision this summer.
Snap him up
Arsenal have to do whatever it takes to sign Odegaard during the summer transfer window.
The Gunners are in a period of transition and without European football, attracting players will be hard.
Odegaard has bags of potential and did perform pretty well during his loan spell.

Some fans will point to a lack of goals or assists but with more time in the Premier League more contributions will come.
Despite his tender years, Odegaard has 28 caps for his country and he’s viewed as a star of the future.
Arsenal have to act this summer and complete the statement signing.
