Arsenal have asked for information about Federico Dimarco as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his defensive options this summer, according to a report from Tuttomercatoweb.
Arsenal are getting their summer plans underway. A deal for Marquinhos looks to be in place. And Eddie Nketiah looks set to follow in the footsteps of Mohamed Elneny by signing a new contract.

Obviously, many of the fans are excited about the striker they expect to come in. Reports this week claimed that Lautaro Martinez has rejected the chance to move to the Emirates after they missed out on Champions League football.
But he is not the only Inter player Arsenal want. Tuttomercatoweb reports that the Gunners have asked about Dimarco.

It does appear that the Nerazzurri are in no mood to sell him. Dimarco signed a new contract last year until 2026. And Simone Inzaghi views him as an important player.
However, Tuttomercatoweb suggests that an offer of around £21.3 million could tempt Inter to consider a sale.
Arsenal have asked about Dimarco
Dimarco would have the potential to be an inspired signing for Arsenal. He has predominantly played at centre-back this term. But he is generally considered a wide-player, whether that be at left-back or further up the line.
So his versatility could certainly make him an incredibly valuable player to Arteta. Arsenal have been heavily linked with Aaron Hickey. But perhaps it may be another left-sided player from Serie A who ends up at the Emirates this summer.
Chief executive Beppe Marotta previously claimed that Dimarco represents the ‘future of Inter‘. But they may not be in the strongest position to reject significant offers for some of their players this summer.
So Arsenal may keep that in mind as they weigh up an offer for the former Italy under-21 international.
