Arsenal have been handed a boost with Juventus considering different targets to Manuel Locatelli.
What’s the story?
The two clubs are reportedly in for the Italy international after his performances at Euro 2020.
Arsenal are keen on paying Sassuolo’s asking price of £34m for the central midfielder. However, it’s been reported Locatelli doesn’t want to join the Gunners.
It seems a move to the Old Lady could be extremely far away for the 23-year-old.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Turin-based outfit are studying alternatives to the Euro 2020 winner. Tchouameni has popped up in the side’s thought in what is a boost for Arsenal.

Arsenal no longer need Locatelli despite Juventus switching up targets
Arsenal no longer need Locatelli despite Juventus having handed them a boost by targeting Tchouameni.
Mikel Arteta was handed a lifeline after last week’s news about Granit Xhaka.
It even emerged the Switzerland international would sign a new contract as the club looks to retain the midfielder’s high value.
And this helps the Gunners in their pursuit of incomings for what remains of the transfer window. A number 10, back-up goalkeeper, a right-back and striker are still priorities.
There was a feeling the lack of money could be an issue after the recent pandemic. However, with the Xhaka news, Arsenal no longer need Locatelli despite the boost from Juventus.
