Arsenal could make a bid for Denzel Dumfries next summer which involves Takehiro Tomiyasu joining Inter Milan in a player-plus-cash deal, according to a surprise report from Calciomercatoweb.
Dumfries has had a difficult time at Inter. And it appears that he could be on the move from San Siro in the near future.

90min recently reported that the Nerazzurri are looking to raise money ahead of the January window. And thus, Dumfries may be one player who is sold.
Arsenal could bid for Dumfries
That report noted that Tottenham had made an enquiry for the Netherlands wing-back. But perhaps, it may be the Premier League leaders who ultimately bring the 26-year-old to England.

According to Calciomercatoweb, Arsenal are considering making a bid for Dumfries in the summer. It is suggested that they are ready to meet Inter’s demands for him.
In fact, Calciomercatoweb claims that they are prepared to bid £34.5 million for Dumfries, while also allowing Tomiyasu to move the other way. It is being reported that the deal would be worth £56 million.
Unsurprisingly, the report suggests that Inter would accept such a bid.
Gunners will surely decide against making such a bid
It would be a shock if Arsenal decided to let Tomiyasu move in such a deal. Dumfries would have the potential to be a very good signing. He is an ‘amazing‘ player who is currently enjoying a very good World Cup.
And the Gunners may well want someone who is more natural in that role given that Ben White has played there for most of the season.
However, if Inter value Dumfries at around £56 million, there is absolutely no chance that Arsenal see Tomiyasu as being worth just over £20 million.
Surely, there is little chance of such a deal taking place with the numbers being mentioned.
